Join the 200+ Club for a chance to win cash prizes

It's that time of year again! This is your opportunity to join the Flore Brodie Lodge 200+ Club for the coming year.

Each year over 200 villagers join in our monthly draw, and every month we give away cash prizes of £80, £40, £20 and £10 respectively to four lucky winners. We also award Christmas bonus cash prizes too. The names of the prize winners (provided they agree) are shared in the Flore Messenger are also published on the Brodie Lodge Playing Field website. Last year we gave away cash prizes totalling just over £2,000!

Each monthly draw usually takes place in the White Hart pub around the 20th of each month. The remainder of the money we raise goes to help maintain and equip the Brodie Lodge Playing Field.

We lost a whole year’s income because of Covid, but the past year has seen a determined recovery from those strange times of isolation and disruption. In 2022 we had a full season of car boot sales, football matches, bonfire night and dog shows, and great use has been made of the play equipment, the pavilion and the other facilities available on the playing field. In addition we have installed three brand new items of adult exercise equipment – a crosstrainer, a rowing machine and a pull-up bar set. All these are free to use, of course, and we are delighted to see so many people enjoying them. These three items cost just over £10,000, of which £5,000 was provided by the Brodie Lodge Trustees. The remainder was paid for from the Community Infrastructure Levy received from the builders of the John Campbell Close development at the top of Brockhall Road.

All the administrative and maintenance tasks which the field and the pavilion demand have been kept up, and now we are looking forward to summer 2023 with keen anticipation. So please help us along by completing the 200+ Club subscription form. You can pay for your subscription using cash, a cheque or by BACS bank transfer – whichever you prefer. All the instructions you need are on the form.
